Why Cake?



We love people, we love celebrations, and we love cakes - it's as simple as that! Our purpose is to offer beautiful, high quality desserts with a focus on extraordinary customer service. We choose American-style because that's what we know best, and it's often hard to find those lovely things you see on Pinterest and those gorgeous blogs.  You can find loads of them here at Sweet Everythings!



Why Sweet Everythings?

We’re all about simple, deeply delicious sweet things that make you happy - hand-made desserts and and some treats that are hard to find anywhere else in Scotland. And as you can tell from comments from our delighted customers, our Cakes are loved wherever they go! Our firm belief is that everyone should feel like a guest at their own party. We are organised but endlessly creative, small but mighty, and we bring these qualities to everything we create for you.

Where can I find you?

Attention, Sweet Everythings CakeLovers! We would love you to see more pictures of our gorgeous Cakes but there's no official shop that you can visit at this time, as we bake and make out of a production kitchen. But our icing wands are at the ready, day or night, so please get in touch with a call, email, or message to make an appointment, and we'll be delighted to chat through your most fabulous of Cake plans!

We bake to order and use only high quality ingredients, many of which are from our farmers in Scotland.

   We use the best and freshest ingredients including only free range eggs, Madagascar vanilla beans and milk from Scottish dairies.

   All of our products are made from the kind of real ingredients that people use in their own kitchen with no additives or preservatives. None of our products are reproduced by machines (please keep in mind that the colours and design of your Desserts may vary from the pictures shown).



Our signature buttercream is a Swiss meringue which produces a lighter, more delicate icing.

We also use an American icing which is butter, confectioner's sugar and vanilla bean, as it tends to appeal more to children and has a less complex flavor and texture than the Swiss meringue buttercream. American icing is is a great alternative for those looking for a vegan option or for pregnant mums.

Sweet Everythings is dedicated to serving all members of the community, therefore we are happy to offer Gluten Free and Vegan cupcake options.
